Ryan, yes the event is going to be capped at 70 competitors. Sign up soon! Drop Wendy an e-mail at robb@racerrobb.com and let her know you want to reserve a spot.
There will be a shoot-out at the PITL event, I'm told, if and only if Paul K wins C-Mod class (or any other class for that matter). There is only two competitors, I believe, that are in line for an overall tie at PITL (unofficailly, of course).
FOr the shoot-out, almost everyone who will show up is already in the database for the timing so data input SHOULD be minimal and the event will hopefully be running at 10am. We do have to be shut down by 5pm.
So how did lapping on Full Track go on Saturday. We were all lined up along the wall on Nelson straight waiting to see a big crash, but fortunately it didn't happen. Some of these guys you were lapping with were MORONS! SOme with no helmets, some of them without seatbelts! Hope you had an uneventful good time

Rainman: Yes I will be in I am on the first floor of the shop my bay is under the big sign that say GM goodwrench addison.
Tanny: Ok thats sounds like a good idea (capping). As for the PITL shoot out do you mean there will only be a shoot out if that guy wins?
And the lapping was fun I only felt uncomfortable once and that was when I got stuck behind a three or four train of slower guys and these other guys just dove down the inside of a corner but otherwise I had a blast. I kept up to a few of the cars and I really enjoyed the longer track, it didn't take to long to figure out where I was supposed to be on the track. Actually the only place on the track that was a little hard for me to figure out was the hairpin before the nelson straight. I think I will have to remount my tires this week though heheheboth of those right hand turns on the end of those nice straights did a nice cambering job on the left and even the right front, more on the left.
I knew alot of them were not wearing helmits but no seat belts thats just crazy, I had two drivers in front of me spin and had a guy in a CRX behind me spin. It was FUN though.:)

I think the Push It To The Limit shoot-out only happens if there is a tie for overall and Paul has to win to create a tie for overall.

Ok then Saturday I don't have to stick around after then. I have a new question, are they gonna have awards for the different classes or just say good job you winner :) .

Me no know!
Awards for both PITTL and the Regionals, I do believe, will be handed out at the respective banquets. Solo Ontario's banquets, as you know, is November 2nd. PITTL's has yet to be announced.
I'll give you a pat on the back on Saturday, if you'd like and say "Good job, Ryan!" and mean it! Now Sunday, thats a different story, Bud, out come the gloves and once it's all over we can be friends again, ok?:p
Until then.....
