Some nice pics Wes. I really like some of the shots of the cars under hard braking. Dave Barker in particular has his nose almost on the ground - hope he takes a look.

Yes , Brad , I did notice but it is amazing that I have never noticed any contact between the front air deflector and the ground. It may be happening but I can't hear it. It's easy to see why my rear brakes last a long time . It 's also amazing to think that some guys like softer springs on the front. My springs are twice the stock rate and are obviously not enough and no I am not " jumping " on the brakes.

Dave, Dave. It's all about shocks.

You need more rebound damping and a good tough torque arm. Mine still dives a fair bit even with my shock, arm and spring setup. When I crank the Konis up until my teeth rattle around Shannonville, the car is much better in braking (and turning, not surprisingly).

Well Steve , I only have Koni SA shocks which I think are only adjustable for compression so there is no advantage to stiffening rear rebound for me as I can't do it . What I would really want though is your 800 lb front springs and a bit more ride height. C'est la vie .

BTW I prefer a softer shock setup , particularly on a bumpy track like SMP and this past wkend I'm sure I had the front shocks too stiff on compression as the car was understeering a fair bit.
