Well at last count there are 6 cars in the newer(1973-1987) Trans Am race and 15 cars in the older(1966-1972) Trans Am race, hopefully the organizers will let the whole group run together instead of spliting them into two races. I know that our car and the TR8 ran T/A together in 1981, should be a fun weekend of racing.

Hey Phil, can Frankie come out to play? Anyone else out there with a newer T/A car wanna come play so we can put on a decent show :)

Almost together, just having problems with shocks and springs.
We will try and make the weekend. If I have to run the old springs and shocks
I will drag the GT1 Corvette to mosport. Need to be there Thursday test day
to get the bugs out.

How did you do at HSR this past weekend?

Hey Robert, glad to hear you will have the Vette out.

My Dad drove the car at the HSR event at the Glen, it was a big learning curve as he hadn't raced since 2000 and it was his first time driving the car. Sadly the entries were far less than the SVRA event (500+entries) in September but the weather was great and HSR put on a great event.

Kudos to CASC members who were there as well and put on a great show, Peter Klutt won the Historic Production race in his Monster Vette. Both BWM M1's were there running in the Historic GT (IMSA) race with us, Marcus had a great battle with a Porsche 911 in the final race.

If you've never driven at the Glen, this event and the SVRA event in September are a must, great track, great racing!

Congratulations to Steve & Andrew on their victory in the Trans Am feature at the Varac Festival in the Big Cat! Almost 25 years after the Jag won the Mosport Trans Am, the Cat took top honours again!

Thanks to everyone at VARAC, the Grid Girls, the Workers and Safety Crews for a great weekend at the Festival. While I had hoped we would've seen more Trans Am cars, it was nice to talk with Peter Bulkowski who had his Trans Am TR8 there.

For those that dont know Peter drove this same TR8 against our car in the 1981 Mosport T/A Race as well as many IMSA races. He has the car completely restored and it looks great, congrats Peter!

As for the Big Cat it ran flawless all weekend, a big thanks to my Crew Chief (Thanks Dad!) The Jag outlasted the Vettes to take the first two races on Sunday.

The Group 70+ race was the highlight of the weekend for me, starting on pole and having a great battle with Mike in his Vette for 2nd place. Blaise started from the back of the grid, and was thru the field in no time to take the win, awsome drive Blaise.

Congrats to all the G70+ drivers for great racing and an incident free weekend!
