Well here it is folks! The insurance has arrived and we are go for event #1 on Sunday June 25th. The entire schedule is as follows.

June 25th - Results (http://www.wosca.com/Event_Results/Summer-2006-Event-1-Results.htm), Pictures (http://www.wosca.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=95)
July 16th
July 30th
Aug 20th
Aug 27th
Sept 17th
Sept 24th

The series will be scored as best 4 of 7. This is less than normal but I want people who wish to still be able to compete in other series.

The venue? The worst kept secret in WOSCA is that our new venue will be Hiwatha Horse Park in Sarnia. The competition area will be roughly 50 - 100% larger than Woodstock, whith excellent pavement. There is only one lamp post in the competition area as well.

Here's a picture of lot. The competition area will stretch from the ramp to where the camera is.

Anyway, here is the flyer (http://www.wosca.com/Event_info/SummerSeries2006.htm).

While it may be out of the way, this is a very good venue. Glad to see you guys managed to find something. We had stuff going on so I only dropped by for an hour or so, but it's nice to see you've found a new market to grab newbs from.

This was my cousin's first Solo2 Ever (in the blue Hijinx STi) and he had a great time.

I also gotta say, Marsh figured out how to make a section only wide enough for a Miata completely legal.

(snip)..I also gotta say, Marsh figured out how to make a section only wide enough for a Miata completely legal.

Hey that section was wide enough for most cars except the STi's and the Volvo. The driver's just werent convinced. Actually I wasn't happy with the course. It was fair enough, but it was boring. My last few at Woodstock were much better. I need to get a map of the lot so I can make some sketches.
