Hello there!

Any rally racers with a suggestion for a "DOT" tire for racing on dirt?
Basically it will be somewhere between muddy and slick clay type dirt.

If I remember correctly, Silverstone, Khumo and Falken had DOT rally tires - not sure if they still are DOT approved or not.

Try calling a few rally shops and see if they are aware of any.

Falken has DOT gravel tires, but they are still listed as 'competition use only'... ie, they meet DOT standards but legally can't be used on ontario roads (HTA says no 'competition labeled tires').

So, best check into your governing body... they may still not want 'competition use' DOT approved tires.

I have a two sets (8) of Falken Azenis, RS-01D for sale. 215/60R15
Medium compund.

They are DOT as stamped on the side of the tire. The LABEL says; "for competition use" but does not say "Only".

I am not sure of the legalities and how picky OPP will be?

These are NEW and have never been mounted. With suspension mods on our car, they do not fit and hence I am getting rid of them for the low low price of $100 each. These are no longer available from Falken but are a great tire. Last long with good grip.

Am located in the GTA. Can send pics if you wish.

Please forward a pic of the tire.
I am using them for competition, and they will only have to turn left, over and over again. The DOT is a technicality but it's nice to see that there is an option for me.////M
