Well, it finally happened - and I wasn't even there.
Yesterday, while I attended a funeral, Marco of Magnus Mortorsports took my Eagle Talon out to St. Thomas Dragway.
Our previous best with the "former B-Stock Solo car" was 10.04 seconds, and we have been chasing a nine second time slip for several months.
First pass was a 9.997 @ 146.93 mph.
Followed up by a 9.623 @ 141.99 mph.
That second pass makes us the fastest import in Canadian history! (Just barely ahead of two Honda's at 9.70 and 9.648)
Reason the second mph was down - the car broke up at the 1000 ft mark and was finished for the day.
Now to get me in the drivers seat for the next event.
The real and undisputed "Destroyer of all things Honda" :D
