Does anyone know anything about this event? Has anyone ever been to it before?

It's $110 for the day... but it sounds like there will be a lot of cars.

By the looks of it, they are expecting 100+ cars to show up at the track. Good luck getting quality track time. Too bad because it's on the Long Track which is a lot of fun.

They are planning to run 45min sessions in two groups, which shouldn't be too bad. Plus, they are having a show & shine and other stuff to keep the wannabes on the sidelines and us "racers" on the track. :D I've been talking to the organizer because I was afraid that it would be like he lapping event at Shannonville after the Sat event of the final S1 weekend... but luckily it sounds well-planned and more safety-oriented.

I might be able to make this one, too... but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm trying. If the engine's back in the car, I'll drive it without the new Baers I have on order, I'm not racing just lapping after all (the wilwoods flex and are mushy as hell, time to go).
So, I'm hopeful but not holding my breath. Engine builders are fickle.

What this ? I thought Wilwood made good brakes.
They sure cost enough.

I bought a set of used Supralites for my car. They flex enough that I have scores on the inside of my front wheels, how's that for flexy? And, I also have uneven pad wear, which makes me wonder if they're seriously clamshelling on the inside caliper arm (can't tell, no clear view).
The pedal's been mushy and inconsistent since I put them on. My stock brakes had more stopping force and much better feel, mostly from the flex IMHO.
I've flushed the whole system twice, dicked around with pads and various other things, to no avail. So, I'm through with that crap. Time to move on.
Funny thing is, Rick Potter's car has these brakes and they're very strong, have good feel, don't seem to flex much. I think perhaps mine are worn out or went through some extremely serious heat cycles or something. This alone cost me major time every time I went out on the track in the last year or so. A man has to trust his brakes to be fast, no matter what he's driving.

I've enjoyed the Superlights on the Stang most of the time. They seem to be very sensitive to pad choice though. I've had so many different pads in and out of the calipers I've lost count.
DECH, you coming out this weekend? How 'bout TMP on the 26th?
