Now that was a cool video. You could just see the Marshals getting frustrated.

Some of you who are unfamiliar with the SCCA might be wondering. Those aren't actually vintage & historic cars in the first part of the video they are the Production class cars. The 2006 Champ in G-Production in a 1960 MG-A.
H-Prod champ in a 1958 Austin Healy Sprite.Quaint isn't it ;) .
I don't think they have a class for any of the cars we race here unless they were showroom stock.

Hi SLucas,

Actually we have the "find a class for what you build" I.e. GTA, GTB, GTC, GTD etc. all based on a break out time. If you build your car to SCCA rules, just pick a class, and you can run it there also and in CASC. I towuld be also easier to sell in teh future if it met SCCA or NASA class rules.

I.e. to run my camaro in SCCA American Sedan (A Sedan) I would have to go back to a 305 and built it to very specific fuels, same with NASA also, but with RWHP limits vs. actual GM #s.

Man, that T2 race was awsome! It was even better in person :P

If anybody is wondering how the #18 F500 ended upside down in T1, well the marshall's accidentally rolled him over while trying to pull him out from being high sided. opps!!

Great video. Would be nice to have something like that for the CASC

It would be cool to have a similar video for CASC to use as a promo tool. Or even just for the year end banquet.
I know SCCA makes them showing rally, auto x, etc.

May help in the sponsorship area as well. :D

Perhaps drivers and fans could submit footage so someone with the skills could put together something nice.
