To all competitors,
The annual Solo I workshop will be held at the CASC offices at 703 Petrolia

changes you would like to see happen in Solo I. If you have any pertinent
items that you want to see on the agenda please forward them to me no later than October 30th.

Agenda items will include;
1) Summarize Solo I Survey Results,
2) Classification system issues
3) General rules discussion
4) Proposed rule changes & requests for change by competitors (if any)
5) Mentor program, who is interested in becoming "official"
mentor/instructor

I hope to see everyone there who has an interest in how Solo I is run. We
will have representatives form the classification committee, and all the
clubs. It's your series so come out and take part in how it's run.
For those who can't make it in person please forward any issues you have via
email and I'll present them there.

Dave,
Didn't you read the agenda?

Items 2 3 & 4, if there are any rules or classifcation issues brought up by competitors. As for any major changes to the classification or rules, we can discuss them. If it's a major overhaul of any classification or rules they'll most likely be implemented in 2004. But it's all contingent on the number of competitors who come to the workshop to voice their opinions.
If it's anyything like 2002, 6 people aren't going to carry much weight of that's all that show up. This is why I'm asking Dave Pratte to put the survey results to the workshop attendees and we'll make the neccessary changes where the competitors feel will improve the sport.
If no-one shows up, I guess the committee will take the attitude that everyone is fine with the way things are and we'll fix only what we feel needs fixing.

Regards
Perry

My only real concern is the odd fact that if I even add so much as a cam to the Stang over the winter I am suddenly racing Z06s in ASS/1 with twice the horsepower and 10 years of chassis refinement. But then again... I'm not planning to add only a cam. :)

Perry , Yes I read the agenda but if nothing is being brought forward ahead of time then there may be no incentive to go to the workshop . I don't know what last years dismal attendance at the workshop meant but I don't think it was that everyone was ecstatically happy with the present rules ( and the results of the survey would bear me out on that )

OTOH I cannot make the meeting sat. due to some work committments and have therefore modestly presented some proposals elsewhere. If no one brings them up at the workshop then maybe they will have to die on the drawing board.
