CASC-OR Race Series Banquet (not Solo Banquet)...

Has anyone here ever been to this?

I received an invite to today, but I can't really see a good reason to go. I can't really see many race people giving 2 $^#$ about solo, and spending most of the night talking down to me.

Are there really any good reasons to go to this other than the free dinner?

My guess is they have an award for the winners of the Regional Solo 1+2 serieses (is that a word). Either that or it's one of those stings, like you see on COPS, where they give all the crooks tickets to a dinner to receive their prizes and then the cops jump out and arrest them. You don't have any outstanding tickets, do you Marsh?

Last year Ron Fellows and David Rutledge were there, it was a good night.
