Where was the track and what kind of facility they have.
Good karts, electronic timing system, snack bar ????
Good Fun

Hi, you probably remember my post from last year. The Compass360 Winter Go Kart series (which I've been running for nine years and started as the Porsche Club series) is a fun program with some of the best racers in the province coming out to compete once a month from November to April.
Details of the series are posted below (from an email I recently sent to the competitors). Our CASC friends (a number of whom already compete in the events) are MORE than welcome:

Hey there,
Just a quick note to let you know that YES, I will be running my annual go kart series at Formula Kartways this year. There have been some changes to the schedule, but not to the format of the events, which we've been honing for the past few years.
Due to changes at Kartways, we'll be running on the third MONDAY night of each month from November to April. I trust this doesn't pose a scheduling problem for you (although it may for me in April, because the Grand Am schedule is rather full then!). There are the dates:
Nov 20
Dec 18
Jan 15
Feb 19
Mar 19
Apr 16
You may be interested to know that this marks my ninth year running this series, and that our competitors include not just very talented amateur racers, but pros as well. In 2006 our drivers included pilots who also drive in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, ALMS, Grand American, and CASC plus BMW and PCA Club Racing. Best of all, the teams usually qualify within 0.1 seconds aggregately -- as always it promises to be close racing right to the end!
Our team-based system remains the same, allowing for individual driver talent to be recognized through qualifying, and the team effort to shine in two different races. As always, there'll be lots of track time for all, and we will wrap each event up with some bench racing afterwards.
We have a maximum of 33 drivers, and as always I'm asking that you sign up for the whole year. The cost remains at $70 per event, and I'll charge you for 3 races immediately, and then the remainder before our fourth event.
I hope you'll be able to join us. Please shoot me an email letting me know you're in. If you could include your current Visa or Mastercard number and expiry, it'd be a great help. And if you're not comfortable sending that info by email, give me a ring at the office: 416.465.2299 x21.
I look forward to a good season of racing with you!
All the best,
