So my season is over as far a track time goes. :( Tires are toast and there's no more money in the budget. Next season will most likely be in a different ride. My options are: get a new 240SX shell, go with a Bimmer, possibly a Subaru STI or  a Mustang GT...

The highlights for me were the TMP, Mosport and Calabogie weekends. I had only been to TMP once before as a lapping day novice back in 2000, but I discovered that it has a very enjoyable rythm - especially turn 2-3 and the esses. :)

What can I say about Mosport that hasn't already been said. This was by far my favorite event of the season. Just the thought of the speed, thrill and roller coster ride just makes me smile in a way that has others wondering what I'm up to... :D

CMP. Unfortunately my track time at Calabogie was a bit too tame. It was supposed to be fun, but I only get that from the intensity of driving at the (my) limit. Having said that my last session on Sunday was at speed and it taught me that the track has plenty of intensity to offer. Gotta get used to those never-ending later than late apex turns... Rocky road straight is not exactly the Mosport back straight but you do get lots of speed. :)

Can't wait 'til next season.
