Rides are being negociated as we speak on the CADL forum. Maybe you should inquire.
Dan <the animal> Fortin has a co drive up for grabs. His car will be competitive.

I look forward to racing with you guys in DS again down in topeka this year. we'll see how well the little Red TT keeps up this time, hopefully my brother will come co-drive as well.
we've got hopefully 6-8 people from winnipeg heading south, we only had one guy go down this year, he placed 2nd in FS. i saw you guys got a couple trophies as well. hopefully we can drag more up to canada this next year maybe even some jackets.

JT, I count on seeing you there and the plan is to have all the Canadian bring back hardware.

JT, you are OBVIOUSLY a very capable driver...
I looked at your class this year... and isn't the VR6 version of your car ALSO in the same class?
I've never driven either... but I've HEARD that the VR6 was more of a performer than the TT TT.
What are your thoughts?

3.2 vs 1.8T Thoughts.
3.2 - 250hp 236lb/ft 3428lbs VS 1.8T - 225hp 207lb/ft 3230lbs
they always say weight is more important then power and so they are very very close in performance. they rate pretty much the same for 0-60 and have the same brakes so the 1.8 will break a bit better and corner a tad bit faster.
comes down to tires then?
3.2's come with 18x8" rims, 1.8's come with 17x7.5's so now you can stick the big rubber tires (285/30R18) on those 18's just like the solstice guys do, the 17's are a dissadvantage to that car now. UNLESS you buy the ALMS package like i did, which comes with the 18x8" rims so now i have the weight advantage and the rim advantage. the 3.2's also come with the DSG (paddle shift auto gearbox) which is great for upshifts, but supposedly quite annoying in downshifts, i don't know personally the only TT i've driven is mine...
I personally think i have the car to have for autocross, but that's me.
Carl was the first to admit he was surprised with how well the car can do for being a fat beast.

So where do you find what tires are allowed in the stock class?
So where do you find what tires are allowed in the stock class?
Stock, any tire is allowed the question is what can you get to fit on your stock rims and not rub.

And it must be DOT legal and not appear on the SCCA exclusion list ( none in 2006).

Well it seems that Peru is now confirmed. This is an event not to miss. It is only 7 hours from toronto and 15 minutes from Hip Huggers.
Pm me if you need more reason to attend this event.

i was a bit upset that they had the Peru and the Milwaukee NT back to back weekends. cause that would be alot of driving, but wanted to make it to both events.
luckly i devised and will implement a plan to park my car in a warehouse in milwaukee for the week and fly out of milwaukee and drive back in with some local club members that are making that trek as well :) double the racing, same amount of k's on the car :D
