Hello Competitors!

With the Seeded Draw now complete and the start order posted on-line on our website, the 2006 Rally of the Tall Pines is well on it's way towards another great year of competition. A total of 31 teams have entered to date. While competitor turnout has been much lower than anticipated for this year's Tall Pines, the Organizing Committee is committed to bringing all competitors the highest quality event possible. Those that entered the event this year will not be disappointed!

Even though the Start Order has been determined (http://www.tallpinesrally.com/TallPines/Default.aspx?tabid=154), it is not too late for competitors to enter this year's event and experience all that the Tall Pines has to offer it's participants. Gaps have been left in the start order to allow competitors who submit late entries to start at the back of their respective seed groups. If you missed the Seeded Draw, be sure to sign up ASAP. Late entry fee pricing is now in effect. To all those competitors who have already signed up, we appreciate your support and can assure you that this year's Tall Pines will be spectacular!

If you are not planning on entering the Tall Pines this year, why not sign up for our Descriptive Stage Notes Rally School? The school is hosted by Expert Co-Driver Mark Williams and is an excellent way to improve your comfort level with Organizer Supplied Descriptive Stage Notes. Response so far has been very positive and the Rally School is already filling up! The Rally School consists of an in-class session with Mark Williams on the evening of Thursday November 23rd as well as a self paced Notes Familiarization Pass to see how the provided Descriptive Stage Notes work. The cost of the Rally School is $250* per team (driver & co-driver). Please note that Competitors who have already signed up to compete at this year's Tall Pines may attend the Rally School for FREE! Further details can be found on our website at http://www.tallpinesrally.com/TallPines/Default.aspx?tabid=162.

We also have some fantastic limited edition collectable merchandise for sale this year that includes "reflective print" men's and women's long sleeve shirts, "reflective print" full-zip hoodies, toques, baseball caps, t-shirts, folding chairs and Tall Pines mugs. Stay fashionable and support the event by visiting our merchandising team at Rally HQ on Friday night, Saturday at the Iron Bridge Spectator Area or Saturday Night at the Post Rally Party at Rally HQ. Our merchandise makes for excellent Christmas presents so why not start your shopping early!
Once the event is all said and done, be sure to come back to the Post Rally Party which is hosted in the party tent at Rally HQ. This year no one will go hungry as the chefs from BBQ Catering will be cooking a royal feast for everyone. Dinner will be served on Saturday night November 25th from 10:30pm (just after the podium is done) until 1:00am. All competitors at the Tall Pines receive two tickets included in their entry fee. However, should you need more for your Service Crew, tickets are selling right now online (http://www.tallpinesrally.com/TallPines/Default.aspx?tabid=158) for $20. This will be the perfect opportunity to talk with all the competitors and share their stories from the day’s competition. Great food & good times are on the menu.

We look forward to seeing you all in Bancroft!
