June 28-29 double event at Sanair (40 minutes from Montreal). They have two different tracks and you will run both of them. Bring your brakes for the Saturday track, because there's a straight that incoroporates a drag strip and runoff before a hairpin.

The second track is a mini trioval with a road course infield. Can you say banking?

I'm making arrangements for the campsite. However, it's close enough to Montreal to go back for the night Saturday night and return to the track Sunday morning. There are also motels within 15 minutes.

I hope to see you there and I'll answer any of your questions here. I'll also be emailing your organizers. You will probably have the option of running in your classes or ours (part of the details still to be worked out).

He's not kidding. This is the straight he is talking about:

The lines in the for ground are the finish line so add another quarter mile to the left. The drag strip run off goes down to the tower in the far back ground, but I think the road course exits at the end of the cones (if memory serves  )

I remember thinking it would be a fun course to try out in the dry if there weren't cones on it.

Vincent, its too early to be thinking about summer Solo1! We haven't even started the MCO Winter Solo2 series!

Was just noticing these dates aren't on the LAPS website 2003 schedule, but St-Eustache and Watkins Glen (!?!) are. What's the deal?

Hope to see you at the Cheneville sprints in three weeks!

Yeah, don't worry, these dates are confirmed, they'll be on the LAPS website before long.

I will see you at Cheneville as well. I would have liked a winter solo before Cheneville to practice, but the timing didn't work out.
