Myers In-Car Mosport Aug 2009

Well the quality is still not as good as I would like but here it is anyway.

Race 1 http://vimeo.com/6044461
Camera facing backwards.
Starting 27th overall and 1st in GT 4. A group of 5 of us having a real battle. Diane (240Z) and I eventually break away and out, oops:rolleyes:. We had a great battle.

Race 2 http://vimeo.com/6059136
Camera facing forwards.
Starting at the back of the field after getting two laps DQ'd for breaking out by 0.08 secs or less. It was worth the fun battle in the first race and the run through the field in this race:cool:.

Race 3 later.......

Great vid! I was driving the red/white stock car behind Diane. enjoyed my fisrt race even after I ended up getting a flat right rear tire. Took a wild ride in 5. I did manage to finish but lost touch with you at the end.

Nice Video. You and Diane had an awesome battle going on R3.
I love the diversity of Gt Sprints.!! Who knew such different cars can be so competitive with each other! It makes for a great show!

racecartech if you would like to see video of your spin hold tight!:)
I almost have a good video done from the Saturday Race1 and Sundays Race3

Looking forward to seeing the video. My in car was facing backwards in Race 3. You can see the tire smoke as I locked up the right front trying to get slowed down to miss Randy but that is it.

Racecartech: Look at Vics pics and he got a good series of your spin (and second one too:D). Diane and I wondered where you got to.

And once again, the Rolling Chicane Award goes to......

the orange Dodge SRT4 !!

Can somebody please direct him and a certain bright yellow Supra to the nearest drag strip ??

From the race on Saturday, the best lap times of the GT2 field (aside from Leo, who did 1:28's) were all 1:30.xxx's, within 10ths of a second of each other! It sure made for some very exciting racing, I can't wait until the next race. :D

Check out Lizslense"at"smugmug as well. She got some great photos of you in all your glory as well:rolleyes:. Neat line through 5 but I think I'll stick with mine:eek:. Glad that it is just a good chuckle now and no damage resulted.

OK Alex,

Here it is.

Race 3 http://vimeo.com/6094665

I don't think it will show you what you think it will but I have put some description of what I saw in it.

Alex. You have a little camera in your car. When are we going to see some of your video. Complete with bloopers please. We know there are some:D

Ahh, the old 50-50 choice of what direction to point the camera. I've been bit by that one before too, and completely missed out on all the action!

Great videos Paul, and some absolutely fantastic driving! Curious if you tweaked your settings like we discussed - that race 3 video looks crisper.

Yah the choice worked well on the first race but on the second it was all over after two laps. Diane was supposed to stay behind me. I guess I forgot to tell her that:rolleyes:

For race 3 I raised the camera to get a better view. I kept thinking I was being followed because it is centered in the rearview mirror.

Thanks to your suggested settings I think it is crisper. I think the setting for quality when downloading off the camera made the big difference. I tried reprocessing the Race 1 and 2 electronic files without downloading again off the camera and it did not make much difference. I did notice my computer dropped a few frame though. I think i'll talk to Alex and see if he has a spare cray super computer laying around he can loan me.:D
