Re: Stainless Steel Brake hoses

Good info here:

As stated in this thread, it would be interesting to see if there was a difference in feel when changing a brand new OEM...

Re: Toyo Tires Announcement and Sizing Poll

Here is a decent test between the RE71 and a NT01 on track. I've heard that the NT01 is the same rubber as an RA1 or an old 888..really not sure what is true. In any case, the new 888R should be...

Re: Toyo Tires Announcement and Sizing Poll

Re: Need a large helmet at CTMP this weekend for few laps for a birthday surprise

Based on the replies, I will likely just leave the second helmet at home since it would seem you're already covered. :)

Re: Need a large helmet at CTMP this weekend for few laps for a birthday surprise

I might be riding out if the weather is good, so if I able to bring my second helmet with me, he is welcome to use it. Or if I am not instructing when he needs it, he can use my the one I rode in...

Re: What brand of tires were the fastest ?

I doubt very much that the RS4 will last any longer than a RS3. I used to get a full season, although heat cycled out. And no surprise about the PS2's...I mean they are not terrible tires but not...

Re: What brand of tires were the fastest ?

Based on my experience with Grant's car last year which had the RE-71's fitted, I would have to agree with most comments thus far.

The RE-71s while fast, get greasy quite fast! They basically...

Re: 2017 Time Attack Rules

Have you actually put them through to verify?

The reason I ask is because when I last competed in OTA with my E36, which is a popular chump car from what I hear, it was completely gutted with MANY...

Re: What I Learned at Events 3&4

Thx! Truth be told John, Gary's transmission and I have not got a long so well in the past, so I was a little more hesitant to use 2nd than I normally would have been. Now, having said that, Steve...

Re: What I Learned at Events 3&4

1. Be careful on your out lap if it rained the night before - you may find copious amounts of natures speedy dry!

2. NRG Wheels are junk. Or, I really am "Godzilla"!

3. RX-8s are serious fun -...

Re: Supp Regs for the June 25 OTA School and lapping day.

Will there be alligator lapping during the lunch hour break?

Its been a great draw for family and friends in the past so I am hoping we are continuing on with it.

Re: Question about rear inboard springs

Its all good, Will!

I did say that the shock exerts an "incredible amount of force", so we agree there. My point was that the spring mount is built much beefier compared to a shock mount, and the...

Re: What I Learned (WIL) at OTA Event #1

1. Don't set expectations too high!
2. When you think you have enough steering in your FWD, you don't.
3. Race seats should be worth 10 pips - I sure miss mine!
4. This series brings a lot of...

I am not sure if you are the owner of my old car or not but see the attached photo of my old E36 track car.

This was the second last time it was on the scales. This was with a full tank of fuel...
