I found an article by Road & Track that compared stock, to a stickier 215, to the same brand 235. The 215 was faster.

That being said, I think that I'm going to go with the 235 R888R's. If they end up not being 0 PIP then I'll go with 245 R1R's. I plan on getting a second set of rims for the track anyways so that expense is already accounted for. (My stock wheels are 7.5" wide)
If you're getting a second set of track tires, it's not much more effort to swap in track pads at the same time.
