My New Ride

So last week with help of another VARAC member I dragged home a new toy.

Its a 1977 FIAT 124 Spider.
The car has been a track day toy for the past 8 years.

Over the winter I'll get her up to snuff, take the race school in May and hope to run my first event in June 2010.

Its all long term, but its a start.

In time I might be able to chase down some of the competitors.

Its going to take me years to develop my program.

I'll be happy if I make the 2010 June Mosport event.

This coming weekend I'll be in the pits learning and helping the FIAT guys.

I wouldn't count on learning too much from the likes of Chris & Andrew except the volume of repairs needed to keep Fiats on the track!

OK so I'm going to hear about that comment at the Festival!!!
