FS: Grand-Am BMW 330i

A good friend of mine is selling his BMW 330i, which has competed in Grand-Am's Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge for a number of seasons. John is a fastidious car owner, and this Bimmer is always competitive. If you're in the market, it's worth a look. Here are some details, as provided by John:

-Built from a body in white (no VIN), seam welded, 4 jack stand points and 2
jack points
-Ballast box (mounts to the passenger side seat mount)
-Front and rear window clips
-Koni 2800 series shocks (GA spec) with rear coilover
-Custom delrin bushings throughout
-ZHP front control arms (solid ball joint)
-BMW motorsport rotors
-Teves ABS system with traction control
-6 speed with a 3.73 rear diff (good for 153 mph in the draft at Daytona).
Diff was brand new in January and it has a 70% static lock with 60/40 ramp
angle.
-Stock clutch, flywheel and pressure plate
-Stock M54B30 engine with BMW motorsport oil pump, oil pan baffling, oil
filter housing and Setrab oil cooler
-Stock 17 gallon gas tank with one extra gallon in the trunk
-Custom 3" stainless exhaust with Borla muffler
-Custom front 40X1.5mm front sway bar
-TC Kline Camber plates
-Turner carbon fiber brake ducts
-17X9.0 30mm offset Fikse 3 piece wheels (16 wheels total)
-NASCAR style coated wheel studs
-Discriminator with photocell, full tank light system
-Standard 1.5" ATL dry break
-Schroth Hans seat belts (new January 2011)
-Recaro halo seat with custom seat sliders (push to adjust)
-2 Kevlar triangle nets (GA spec) (window net is 1 year old)
-Fire system and master power accessible outside and inside
-Quick release steering wheel
-Push to drink system (1 gallon) with quick fill
-Windshield defogger
-Nighttime cockpit light
-Wiring in the front for extra lights
-Speedcom radio wiring harness and radio mount
-AIM Pista Data system with passenger side USB download port, ECU interface,
steering angle sensor, oil pressure sensor and front brake pressure sensor.
I have about 4 years of data and video also.

Spares:
- Complete rebuilt zero hour engine (intake, harness, flywheel, clutch
assembly and plumbing) in a custom crate. Multiple bins of cylinder heads,
camshafts, valves, springs, pistons, all hardware, oil pumps, pistons, rods,
etc.
- Suspension components (rack, PS pump, tie rods, front control arms, king
pins (with wheel bearings, brake ducts and studs), rear trailing arms (with
bearings, drive flanges, studs and bushings), axles, upper control arms
(with bushings) lower control arms (with bushings), front sway bar and about
10 sets of springs.
- Clutch, pressure plate, hydraulic components
- Corner lights, side lights, Kidney grills, 2 front painted fenders
- Complete radiator with hoses, expansion tank
- Bearings, flex joints, filters, alternator, caliper rebuild kits, wheel
studs, master cylinder, axle nuts, body clips, used pads, used rotors,

Re: FS: Grand-Am BMW 330i

John's asked me to add:

"Asking $45K for everything along with 1 year of tech support. Delivery to
Canada can be arranged."

JJ is a straight shooter and one of our good friends in the Grand-Am paddock. If you're interested in this kind of car, John's comes highly recommended.
