Perhaps, but we are talking Krispy here and a high torque car... Besides, both corners before TMP and MIR straights are 2nd gear, hence cars rely mostly on torque vs momentum - hence I am scratching my bold head (sitting in an armchair of course LOL!). Anyhow, we will know soon enough

Re: What class are you running (SGT3 and above)

Serious question though, prior to your latest mods, what's been your best lap at MIR thus far? I actually can't remember my best lap in my '02?! I know I got a 1:35 out of my '93 Z28 (well setup car, driver-in-training) and dipped into a 1:31 with my Z06. Not sure how well I can do with the '02 Z28 at this point ... best to check Dr. Dave's times to see what an '02 Z28 is capable of .

Re: What class are you running (SGT3 and above)

Guess it's time to trade my 350z in for a Porsche GT3 RS.

http://www.porsche.com/canada/en/models/911/911-gt3rs/

At only a $154k plus HST it sounds like the perfect SGT2 car (450hp/3020lbs) or SGT1 on Hoosiers.

Perfect for humiliating 268whp Zs in SGT1 trim:

Re: What class are you running (SGT3 and above)

^ ^ How about that old dinosaur '93 Z28 I had that would have dyno'd about the same and was also classed in SGT1 on ubers? Heck, it didn't even have a fancy independent rear suspension like your car!

Bring it on ... I like to humiliate fancy cars with my 85 325 BMW (with half the HP of the Porsche) in SGT2 ... hehe

Matt, I think you are trying to hint you are not happy where your car is classed, compare to other potential cars that could be in the same group ...
What should I say, just have fun ...

Re: What class are you running (SGT3 and above)

Humm maybe I would be on par in SGT2/3 then?

There's a 1:21.xx in there through traffic. I think I dipped into the 1:19.xx

Jason's coming out this summer! Aren't you, Jason! He's got a very nicely set up car.
