Yes and I seem to recall you chasing Brian more than the other way around so I think my point is valid.

Re: It's July...

you are right about tires tom, Shane might have had the championship if he head new ones and lately he seems to be a better driver then me.

Shane did forget to say that he had 8 used tires for the season and had some restuding done mid year. The mid year dirt did screw my new studs to used status I think.

If Tim can keep fluids in the mighty V8 and we all get new tires and maybe Scotty actually drives his mr2 we might have a lot of action up front!

Good racing is better then winning in my book anyway.

This is true. MR2 tears taste delicious. I'm going to add some zipties to my fluid hoses.

You forget I'm probably the only guy there thats run a car in every class.Rwd was my least favorite not because its the largest challenge but because its the slowest.

Re: It's July...

Its now sept....

Picked up Jeffs MR2 yesterday from Toms yard and he and I had a good solid day of prep/repairs done untill my welder had an issue-luckily I fixed it today so some more stuff got done.
I found some bits left over from another project so its good I fixed the welder as I need to it to fab up the method of installing the super go fast parts.Should have it done to return to Toms yard maybe next weekend.
Look forward to running in 2nd driver with it this year,I'll be a bit rusty but hopefully I can figure it out quick enough.

Then its my own car that needs to find its way back to the shop, got some changes to make to find some more speed.

Re: It's July...

I know its not a "special", but it's a new build. From street car to ice racer in less than two weeks (about 30-35 hrs). Just needs SS tires. However I did pay a price for it, see 2nd pic.

Re: It's July...

Ouch, haven't hurt myself working on cars for awhile now(spent 3 consecutive days having a needle shoved in my eye to remove metal a couple years ago-once the freezing didn't work which sucked)
Hopefully this ones a standard there Dan
