Trans Am Series - Season Finale

The last two races as the 13 + 3 West Coast race season is wrapping up over the next 2 weeks starting this weekend at CoTA in Texas.

This weekend has the combined main and west coast series running together for a total entry of 62 cars!!

Canuckia is represented by - Peter Klutt and Roberto Sabato. Greg Pickett is running his TA #68 car - the only driver to have run and won in the last four decades - starting in 1975 - of the 51 years that Trans Am has been around.

The week after is the Season Finale at Daytona with one race for all four classes at the same time!!!

Its been an exciting - and busy - season! I have worked at 16 different race tracks this year just with this series alone!

Trans Am Series - Season Finale

The Trans Am Series ran 2 races yesterday here at The Circuit Of The Americas in Austin, Texas.

The first TA/TA3/TA4 Race with 32 cars was typically exciting with lots of on-track action to keep everybody on the edge of their seats!

The TA2 Race that was supposed to start at 4:30 was delayed by lots of issues with the vintage race cars from the SVRA Program - blown motors, fires............you name it, they had it...........taking time for clean-up for every incident.

We finally threw a Green Flag on 30 cars to start the race at 5:45 PM and ran as long as we could before being forced to throw the Checkered Flag at 6:45 PM due to fading light.

Again, lots of great racing and now onto Daytona this coming weekend for the Season Finale!!!
