benefits of ASN license vs CASC-OR license

So, I happen to look up the ASN Canada FIA requirements for a race license, and I am actually eligible (6 regional events over last 24 months).

I believe one of the benefits of the ASN National card is that I could compete in national series, but I'm not sure if there are any (the Sentra series was; Honda was, but I'm not sure it is anymore; I don't think FF1600 is (yet)). What other benefits might there be? For example, racing in SCCA?
