TMP Event 5-->newbie questions

Hello.

Im a newb with time attack. Im interested in doing it this weekend at TMP. I have a few questions.

I have a 92 miata with a hard dog hard core roll-bar, and a turbo kit. Toyo R888's

Am I allowed to run without a hardtop? If need be I can do up my soft top.

Whats the cost?

Can I just arrive and drive?

Ive been to TMP a few times last year in my Mazda3. The miata is new to me this season and just looking to have some fun it and get timed. I have only done 1 auto-x event in it.

Thanks

Re: TMP Event 5-->newbie questions

Yes, you can run your Miata without a hard top but you must have the soft top up. A roll bar such as you describe is mandatory for convertibles, even if they have a hard top.

You can arrive and drive, although pre-registration will save you a bit. Walk in price is $195, I believe.

Novice participants like yourself are assigned a coach for the morning sessions. If you proceed well through the morning, you'll be signed off for the afternoon sessions where you'd run solo.

See you Saturday.

It would make things much easier if you submitted your car classification BEFORE the event at http://www.macrocosm.on.ca/ccdb/

Do you have a dyno for the car? (Don't think Miatas same with a factory Turbo option)
