1977 Porsche 930 Race Car

Getting old, cleaning out my garage!
Numbers matching original 3.0 litre turbo.
Built by Porsche professor, has all the rare period engineering & components plus much more. Built 2004-2006, raced 2007-2011.
Approx. 2,300 lbs, twin plug heads, 917-style billet Porsche racing twin plug distributor, 934 gearset, MODE exhaust, data system with cameras, etc.
Significant aero improvements (RSR tail, window sill deflectors, rear window raised to roof plane, aluminum splitter, removable dive planes, period Honda motorcycle side mirrors)
Car comes with a mountain of spares including:
- spare engine, all parts, machined, ready to assemble (Carrillo rods, GT-2 oil pump, twin plug distributor, new barrels/pistons, etc.)
- spare short bellhousing gearbox, not used, identical 934 gearsets to transmission in car
- 12 CCW 3 piece racing wheels
- unused Andial twin plug distributor
- K27 turbo (turbo in car is K27 with Garrett impeller)
- spare crankshaft, std/std with Porsche racing oiling modification
- enough gaskets/seals/etc. for many rebuilds
- cams, fuel injection components, etc.
- almost 3 feet of documentation regarding history, modifications, part numbers, manuals, etc., also have 28.1 GB of electronic files associated with car build & racing

Car has had most decals removed & a stainless steel muffler installed. Believe it or not it is still street legal! Engine just rebuilt (new bearings, rocker arms, valves/springs/retainers/locks, GT-2 oil pump, etc.) & fired last week.

No pms or texts. Call 519-572-7654 or email
Will not part out anything until vehicle is sold so do not bother inquiring about parts until a sold announcement is made. Will sell for less than market price.

Also have a 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi that is nearing complete restoration/rebuild, all expensive stuff done (engine, suspension, brakes, etc.), finishing replacement of all rubber lines/connections & then it goes to paint shop. Will sell in current state or completely restored.

Re: 1977 Porsche 930 Race Car

I agree, the problem is that we all get old and do not have enough time to play with all the toys we accumulated...I cannot believe how much stuff I collected over the years...I did a fully funded 6 figure fuel injection research project with this car during my PhD work and last night I found even more spares (extra set of newly machined twin plug heads, etc.)...whoever buys this car will need another truck to carry away all the accumulated spare racing parts!
