Re: 97 BMW M3 Racecar For Sale

Don't you need nascar bars on the driver's side? I'm still sitting here drooling...

Nope. Nascar bars are not a requirement in any series (except maybe Nascar )

Those liars!!!

I was informed by an official that without nascar bars the OEM crash bars had to stay in place.

I thought that was odd but who am I to argue. Thanks for info Carry on...

Oh and again, this car is CLEAN. Wish I had the monies.

Don't know which official told you that, but first I heard of it. Many cars have carbon or fiberglass doors, so obviously no OE bars ... I have only an X on my driver side. It's very common to not have nascar bars but rather an X(and some many argue that an X is stronger since no bends).

Thanks for clearing that up Arek!

I've replied to all PMs. But my sent folder is empty for some reason. Has anyone actually received a reply?

Had the car out today and managed to pull out a 1:34.9 at Mosport.

Worth a bump!
