Event 4 - Results posted - TLMC - Barrie Molson Centre

Thanks to Twin Lakes Motor Club (TLMC) who hosted the fourth round of the Casc-or Mobil 1 Autoslalom Championship Series presented by Toyo Tires this past Sunday July 8th.

Another great event, with a longer and technically challenging course, all competitors still managed to get in six dry timed runs.

Familiar once again at the top of the leaderboard with Tom S taking the Raw time victory, with Mike A and Paul K following just over two seconds behind. Mike A took the top spot in the PAX index, with the top ten drivers all nearly within one second of his time (in eight different classes). This is by far the closest the top ten have been to the leader in recent memory.

Marshal's and the timers were kept busy with over a third of the runs with at least one penalty being called. We had 64 off courses, 119 runs with cones and a total of 173 cones knocked down on the day. Mike A and Matt M shared the distinction of taking out the most cones (5) on a single run.

The live timing wireless results also seem to be a large success, with 89 competitors at this event - we had nearly 30 people pulling results within a 10 minute interval just after lunch.


The returns in the middle of August at the Powerade Centre in Brampton (Sunday August 12th) hosted by HADA Motorsport Club. See everyone there.

i might play in smf for nationals, my brother picked up a built type-r ek hatch

i have to go over the rules, and grab some tires(too many available in his size)... but it might be more competitive than the matrix

I think one thing to note is that neither Brian or I hit a cone all day. Considering how big of a butt my car has, that makes me think we were not trying hard enough.

Yeah, it was a close one! Congrats Curt! Barry, Darcy and I get to fight for 2nd now.

Thanks, guys. This STR group is a lot of fun! We are having some great back and forth battles out there always trying to out tenth each other!
