Re: CSCS Next Weekend?

Hopefully it turns in now with the 3.5 degrees of front camber!

Re: CSCS Next Weekend?

We will be operating the road course (1.8KM modified track) - for car lapping this evening and on Saturday.
Currently we have 10 signed up for Sat - so if you are looking for track time you can definitely get some on Sat ( pre registered pricing closes at 5pm Friday)
As for being unprofessional - we are very professional (as any of the groups/series that run with us will tell you) but sometimes economic reality causes us to make changes - re the Sun June 10th Red Rabbit was speaking of where we changed from a car day on the Thursday prior to a bike day - at noon on that Thurs we had 3 cars pregistered and 2 guys called saying they might come. In comparison we had 15 bikes who has given us their payment info and about 5 or 6 more who said they would come if we changed it to a bike day (Sat was already a rented bike day and many wanted to make a weekend out of it - we ended up with about 35 in total)
So I made the change - with only 3 guaranteed entrants and a couple maybe's I couldn't afford to run it as car day - my insurance for the day is more than that income and we still had ambulance fees, marshalls, etc.
We will be posting more Thursday evening and Friday lapping dates next week - (just waiting on a multi date rental to verify dates before we post open dates and then have to take them back)
I would love to see more cars coming out and using the facility - so far everyone who has run it loves the various layouts and with the turtles now in and painted visually seeing the course/lines is even better.

Re: CSCS Next Weekend?

I am expecting to see some showup on the day and or pre register before tomorrow at 5pm. Grouping will depend on experience regardless - it is just a problem waiting to happen if we force new drivers/rookies to be out on track with a bunch of experienced guys/gals. Also it is alot more fun when you group them right - it reduces the number of times you get stuck behind a slower car.

Re: CSCS Next Weekend?

just wanted to say ....
WHAT A BLAST

team ORF (Ontario race Fabrication) had a great time..and took home 3 trophies

the organizing was EXCELLENT..and the timing system ROCKED.... the ability to see the times in REAL time on your smart phones as the cars cross the beam AND showing car classes ect ..and time differentials and how many laps was just steller !!!

the vibe and sheer energy at the event was great...

Kudos for putting on a safe and fun event
