Camp Friday night at SMP?

I've been looking for an answer to this in forum threads, the OTA website, and any supplemental regs (which don't appear to be posted yet for the coming weekend), but haven't found an answer.

Are we able to camp Friday night, August 24, at Shannonville? If this has been answered somewhere else, please point me to it.

Sorry about that! Yep, Friday camping available. Who is bringing firewood?

SMP Supplementary Regulations

https://www.dontmovefirewood.org/ Your link didn't click through for me. Good info! I also called the local fire department and there isn't a burn ban in the area right now.

Re: Camp Friday night at SMP?

Awesome, thanks everyone.

I was just planning on bringing my backcountry camp stove for morning coffee, but how can I say no to a raging bonfire.

Is firewood typically for sale in the area? I imagine SMP would not permit "gathering on-site" despite the best advice of that website.

I am not sure about firewood availability but I know we get free coffee on event mornings at the track grill.

If you ask around at one of the Indigenous business anything is possible and available for sale. firewood or someone who can weld the frame of your car at the track .. Ahh good times!
