Last Minute Details for Events 3 and 4

So we are just a few days away from these events at the DDT. Here are a few check points you need to consider.

1) Are you registered on MSreg? Car classified? Paid already or at the track?
2) Do you have your series decals? Do you plan to apply them at the track or before you get there?
3) Have you read the Supp regs? They are here http://time-attack.ca/wp-content/upl...T-Event-34.pdf
4) Have you indicated to the registrar that you will be having the available lunch at a cost of $15 per day? There will be very limited to no ability to decide to buy lunch at the track, so make sure to tell us now. There will not be any other food available at the track.
5) Do you have your self tech sheet? http://time-attack.ca/wp-content/upl...check_form.pdf
6) Do you have your RFID tag from previous events or do you need a new one?
7) Do you have a long sleeved shirt and long pants to use while in the car on the track?
8) REPEAT, have you read the supp regs?
9) If you are experienced and feel the lapping group you are assigned to due to your car classification is inappropriate for any reason, please notify the organizer (myself for Saturday and Gerry C for Sunday) of your desire to change groups. If you are a lapper or RTC competitor with an unclassified car, please let the registrar know which lapping group you should run with.

I know, it sounds like a lot for a fun event, but believe me, having all of these items looked after will make your weekend a lot more fun.

Re: Last Minute Details for Events 3 and 4

A couple of other considerations for the upcoming weekend:

OMSC will be running a club autoslalom on the skidpad and part of the parking lot at the DDT on Saturday which will take away some of our paddock area. Please be aware of how much space you use when you do arrive to allow all 72 of our OTA members to be able to use the paddock. It is ok to use some of the asphalt to the west of the building as well as the regular space. The autoslalom will take up a similar space to what is used for the May schools. Be nice to the autoslalom guys; they may be your competitor next year.

We are planning to have alligator lapping at lunch similar to the last event at MIR.

Can we run down the access road to cool brakes then?

Unfortunately no as the autocross competitors will be pitting there. OTOH, we will make every effort to make sure that competitors get a full cool down lap. The only reason (we hope) to ever use the black flag elsewhere on the track would be a major issue with your car (or driving).

As a Corvette owner, I am more than well acquainted with the necessity of adequate brake cooling
