Someone in the US pointed out this rather interesting website selling roll cages and this particular cage in his facebook status, so I followed up on it. Somebody other than a Scrutineer or Fabricator able to tell why the disclaimer on this cage is "More for shows, most likely will not pass any sort of motorsports tech."

Looks like it's because of the type of tubing used "EWS" which doesn't seem to have much info about it on the web. You'll note the DOM version of the same cage on that page doesn't have that warning.

The DOM and Alloy ones have issues too

The DOM one doesn't carry that warning on the page, regardless the door bars aren't sufficient, there is no diagonal in the main hoop from top to bottom, and it's hard to say if the pads are large enough.
