1990 Mazda RX7

1990 Mazda RX7 (base model)
176,000 kms
Very strong original engine
Original “Blaze Red” paint with NO rust
Tinted windows and sunroof
Sony CD, Alpine amp., component speakers and sub woofer
Racing Beat header and intermediate pipe with Monza dual cat-back (no Cat)
Limited Slip differential
Front strut tower brace with engine torque link
Tokico Illumina 5 adjustable struts and Eibach Sport springs
Camber plates on the front and adjustable link on the rear.
Williams F2 brake pads
Short shifter
K&N filter
Racing Beat wires and platinum plugs
Electric fan conversion
New(ish) oil pan, engine mounts and tranny mounts
4 sets of wheels
- OEM steel (15”) with 20 yr old snows
- OEM alloys (15” 5-spoke “pinwheel”) with usable streets
- 15 x 7 Aluline (black 5 spoke with machined lip) with corded V710s
- 16 x 8 Wred (gold 5 spoke machined lip and faces – no center caps) with new 245-45 V710s
I have most of a parts car in a bin at work as well.

Items known that you might desire
Catalytic convertor (passed E-test last time I borrowed a Cat)
Parking brake system needs some work
Rad fan thermo switch. I turn the fans on as needed but I believe a switch was $70ish at CTC last I checked.
Plastic cover is missing on parking brake lever.

I bought this car in the spring of '93
This car has not seen a winter since '93 and has always been stored indoors
It has not been licensed for 3 years.
For the last 8 (or so) years it has not been used more than 10 days per year
This car is 20 years old. It has dents, scratches and stone chips. All are well within what is expected of a rust free “drivers car”.

$3400 obo

Re: 1990 Mazda RX7

I think Derek hit his head on the sunroof one too many times. This is an insanely cheap price for a rust-free FC with all the spares.

FWIW I upgraded the white Miata to a nicer white car. Maybe Derek is upgrading to a nicer red car..... ?

Re: 1990 Mazda RX7

No plans.

Life has been crazy for a few years now and somebody might as well enjoy this car.
I can use the money and the space.

Time will tell.

Damn Derek, sorry to see you selling it!!

I have passed this along to my buddy, he has a cousin looking for a FC.

I might stop by sometime, pm me your number, and address, and I will stop by to take some picks for my buddies cousin.

Re: 1990 Mazda RX7

Car will be at PITL event this Saturday.

There is potential for my 8th class championship with this car since I started PITL in 96.
Hard fought class though.
