Since I can "sometimes" get quite (shall we say) . . . opinionated - have just let the discussion roll to hear what people have to say.

thats awesome i'm glad committee members read the forums as a crew member and spectator i would hope these people take note and think about what has been said and hopefully discuss how the racing can be made more enjoyable for drivers and spectators after all i don't think anyone is in it for the money (lol) but rather for the fun and entertainment

Steve if you are refering to Can-Am those were as we all know purpose built race cars-none were based on a prodution show room stock car-the only reason why they had doors it because it was in the sports racer rules from the 50's and early 60's

Luckily Marcus was able to get by on the left and I had to dive to the right to avoid the collision. I spoke to the driver afterwards and he admitted he hadnt checked his mirrors and panicked when he saw the M1 and didnt see me in tow.

We instead decide to run with SVRA or HSR and run with cars of our speeds and era.

But if there was a dedicated race for GT1 cars I would likely run there to help fill the field.

Dave..real race cars have doors and V8's and they shook the earth from 1966-1974!
