Garage Shelving

So my new house now has a double garage, no problem storing the race car right? Yeah right I have crap all over the garage. Looking for some garage shelving, but want something strong and sturdy. I have looked at lowes, costco, CT, home depot but looking for something that wont bow when I put boxes on shelves.

Recommendation appreciated.

Thanks,
Eugene

Re: Garage Shelving

I have multiple configurations of the Gorilla Rack shelving system sold at Costco.
Have lots of heavy storage on them for years, (both loose and storage boxes) and not one shelf has ever buckled.

For the money, I'd recommend these shelves above any other.

Re: Garage Shelving

Bolt-less commercial shelving is what we have used. Very good. This is the only shelving I will use.

Re: Garage Shelving

I've used the gorilla rack from Costco too and was very pleased. however I also bought the really big 2000 lb per shelf unit and put one 500lb engine spread over long 2x4s and the front beam twisted - very disappointed it wasnt as strong as advertised.
