Does anyone know how to get hold of KVR in Ottawa ?
Also , how about your experience with their stainless steel brake lines and /or speed bleeders ? How about relative prices ?

Dave, check out:

Race Fab

800-561-1791

They build custom pieces. I sent a cracked rotor of mine to Bill Mason earlier this year so that they could look at fabbing 4th gen F-body rotors with directional vanes.

They apparently have SS brake lines that leave ABS in place, which they have developed with Bill. I'm not positive the project is complete yet.

I didn't find their site either.

Hi dave KVR runs its shop out of a HI/PO parts shop called" best price automotive." Iv been told that
he has done indy/nascar/machine work he also has twocaliper setups for large ford and dodge trucks
so i think his work and knoledge are top notch, but I ruined a set of his carbon fiber brake pads last
year at the solo1 drivers school. should have got the hawks from him insted. website shows cool
brake kits and prices seem reasonable.

If anybody needs Hawk Brake pads remember to send Dave Pratte a message. He's got a line on Hawks and his prices are pretty reasonable. He only marks the stuff up enough to support his crack habit.

It takes about a month to get your order.

email Dave at prattedg@mcmaster.ca

When you go see him keep you hand on your wallet.

I'm going with PF pads this year. They are a lot easier on the rotors, and they stop just about as well.

Hawk Blues do the job, though. No doubt! If you don't have a big heavy pig of a car like mine, I'm sure you'll get better rotor life.
