TLMC Site Updated (a little)

See the link in my Sig.

Dates aren't confirmed yet (soon) but the entry fee has been dropped to $20 this year ($100 for season for members).

We also have new classes this year;

FWD 1 - under 1.6 litres (I'll be pretty lonely here)
FWD 2 - 1.6 litres to under 2.0 litres
FWD 3 - 2.0 litres and over (or any Turbo / Supercharger)
RWD 1 - under 3.0 litres
RWD 2 - 3.0 litres and over (or any Turbo / Supercharger)
AWD - All

Should be interesting...

Yeah but I like playing with the big boys...guess I'll just hafta compare times... Unless we get lotsa new blood this year my class'll be pretty thin (FWD1), lotsa 4g and 5g non-Si Hondas, not much else.

Stewpiddass you think your class will be thin-how many under 3 ltr rwd do you think will be there?MR2's and RX7's and maybe 4cyl fiero's.
I kinda like not competing against half the people at the event for a change!Any bonus points for setting FTD?(hey I can dream right?)
I need to get some testing in before the regionals start so if my updates don't work I won't waste/look like a fool at the first event.

Well, Barrie is a bit far for me, but I like the sound of those classes. CASC-ORs are too unsystematic for me.

I can think of some more small-displacement RWDs, don't know if you'll see too many of them though... 240sx, 510, any Corolla built before 1985 or so, Mitsu Starion, oldschool 911, Hyundai Pony :P, lots of choice there...

Oh yeah for some reason I forgot about those miata guys,at least Mr. Tong won't be there to harrass me!
I don't see many BMW's,I think autoX is beneath alot of them.

guess you're right hanif, I'll be glad to have some the competition (you actually coming?) ...anyone know the exact displacement on the SOHC Civic D16?

We have a couple of MR2's and RX-7' who run regularly Tom, not too many Miatas (Joe's not running his this year) but yeah FWD2 and RWD2 will be the big ones...AWD might be even bigger, we're expecting a pile of the Subaru Club guys this summer!

Not to sound cocky but the MRusty and the old rx7 that have been there when I've been there haven't really been much competition for the old corolla. And I might be a little faster this year!
I noticed in the TLMC site that there will be a bonus point for setting FTD-wonder how many of those little babies I can collect?

exact displacement of the D16 Honda engine is 1590cc, so technically it is under 1.6L.

I'm definitely going to be running more SOLO2 this year and will certainly add the dates to my schedule.

With Ontario Race Fabrication up in Alliston, Barrie is only a hop skip and jump away...

There is a very fine line between cocky and confident, they are not the same but sometimes get mistaken for each other!
For the record my CONFIDENCE is pretty low for this season with the competition that I will be facing.IMO Marsh could change to the CONFIDENT RACING GUY and recieve a little less attention,oh wait a minute now I get it.
