FS: 1988 Mazda 323 Wagon
Price is $2600 CAD (negotiable) - not including any spare parts. Would consider a trade, depending on what it is... (bike, nikon camera lenses).
Located in Brampton. Pictures of parts, etc. upon request. The car is stored indoors right now so it might take me a day or two to get pictures of what you're looking for. Im selling my 1988 Mazda 323 Wagon (GT). I bought this car as a stock, single cam 1.6L automatic car and have done all of the modifications myself. It pains me to get rid of the car but I dont use it enough to justify owning it. It has been stored indoors for 2 out of the 3 winters and was originally from Vancouver as a drivers education car. The car drives and handles great and surprises a lot of people. It has approximately 280 000 km on the chassis but most of the moving parts have been replaced. The underbody has minor surface rust but is in great condition given its age. The car needs new front wheel bearings (inner and outer) but that will be done before the car is sold. Other then that, the car is in great condition. I have done three lapping days in it and it is a blast to drive on the track. I drove it to and from the track for all three of these days so reliability was no issue. I would prefer not to part much out. 1.6L DOHC turbo from a Mazda 323 GT with approx. 180k. 5 spd transmission with approx 180k (car used to be automatic). Probe GT intercooler mounted beside the radiator. K&N air filter with adapter. 2.5 CAT back exhaust with Magnaflow muffler. Fuel pressure gauge. Rocketchip ECU (rev limiter to 7200 RPM and extra fuel provided for 16 lbs of boost). Autometer boost, A/F and water temp gauges. GReddy full auto turbo timer (not hooked up, comes as spare). Dash with tachometer from a 1988 Mazda 323 GT. Front and rear disc brakes from a 1988 Mazda 323 GT. Corksport stainless braided brake lines. Carbotech XP10 front brake pads. KYB GR2 struts. Ground Control coilovers (250/200 in/lb Eibach springs). Spare Eibach front springs for GC coilovers (300 in/lb). Front strut tower brace. Corbeau Kevlar bucket seat. 2 sets of OEM 323 GT wheels with 195/60R14 tires (below). 1 set of Hankook Z211 R compound tires (used 3 lapping days, tons of tread left). 1 set of Falken Azenis RT-615 tires (200 km on tires). 3 spare 323 GT wheels. Front bumper from an 88 323 GT. Front lip from a Volkswagen. CUSCO camber plates, car has been aligned to 1.5 deg of camber up front. ACT pressure plate with stock flywheel and clutch disc. Any questions, just ask...I have nothing to hide with the car. PM or craig.daley@gmail.com ![]()

it flies through emissions test...I'll include that with the sale. Thanks for the kind words. I love the car but it spends too much time sitting to make it worthwhile keeping. Car needs a windshield too...which I can get done if the offer is right. |

Re: FS: 1988 Mazda 323 Wagon
OH MAN! I learned how to drive on the 1.6l carbureted version of this car. This is a FUN car even with the base model engine in it. Yours must be a blast!

Re: FS: 1988 Mazda 323 Wagon
The car is still for sale minus a couple things (bucket seat, falken azenis) and some of the spare parts.
Asking $1700 now. Basically nothing has changed at all, just hasn't been driven. Stored outdoors but covered. PM or email craig.daley@gmail.com |
