Media Credentials
I am curious when I read the Media Credentials requirements for rally events as to the restrictions. I have participated in many professional and regional events as an accredited photographer without having to submit the material requested by Rally events such as the Tall Pines Rally and the GCFR. I have photographed and written articles for specific trade magazines and have been published for my Corduroy Enduro photographs but since I mostly shoot freelance I can't guarantee my photos will be published. If someone could explain the reasoning for the restrictive language I've seen on the rally websites I would appreciate it.
Thanks, Keith www.rescues313.com |

Re: Media Credentials
Keith
As Coordinator for GCFR I will put in my .02 cents Many people want to get access to points other than the designated Spectator locations. As organizers we need to assure ourselves and if needed Insurance that those claiming to be Media are legit media people. Asking what publications photos could be found in is one way to monitor the legit media people. If you are interested in shooting GCFR contact me at gcfr@pmsc.on.ca Pete g |

Re: Media Credentials
Thank you for the response. I thought liability might be an issue and experience at motorsports events, so this confirms some of my thoughts.
