Do you want me to call her for you?

Robert, this is a very well done car just waiting for a quick motor install and off it goes.

Re: 1999 Pontiac Grandprix Cascar - road race car

best bang for the buck...with the right motor package this could be a $10,000car and run in GT4 "easy"...damma stopck 350 truck motor...LOL.

...maybe GT3 with a 350-400hp...450-500hp gets you GT2!

oh ya and it cost nothing to run, stock car tires, or free cascar tires...and shit dont break like a road car!

PEACE!

Re: 1999 Pontiac Grandprix Cascar - road race car

I bought this car in London in 1996. It was the Kubota sponsored Cascar driven by Cole Pearn. I had it converted to road race spec, including brakes, suspension, new fuel cell, new rear end, windshield, brackets ,tach etc.

With a 355 cu in flat tappet 425 hp motor running a 750 Holley, I achieved a best time of 1:32.1 and won the GTA feature in May 2007. I blew the motor due to an oil starvation issue the next race weekend and sold the car as a roller in 2008 in order to help fund the Corvette that I currently run.

There is a lot of value in this car at this price.

Hope someone local picks it up.

Jon

Re: 1999 Pontiac Grandprix Cascar - road race car

I think Jon ment to say he bought it in 2006, not 1996 as i beleive the chassis is a 1999 or 2000 super series mccoll cascar.

Jon did a lot of excellent work to this car...it is race ready with the addition of a motor/tranny combo!

Oops yeah, don't know where 1996 came from, quality control has been out-sourced I guess.

Thanks for picking up on that.

Rob, what have you got planned? Is the Vette gone?
Looks like I'm on the shelf again, more health issues, so the Vette will stay on the street for another year.
