Post Event 4 - Results now posted - TLMC, Molson Centre Barrie

Great turnout, the highest of the season so far 105 competitors.

Congrats to Tom S on taking FTD by over 2 seconds from Paul (the next best) and to Tashko S for being at the top of the PAX results. With the win Tashko stands atop the overall standings by less then a point.

Head on over to the old site http://solo2.casc.on.ca/index.php to take a look at the results, they'll only be posted there until the new site starts to function properly.

Out of the 646 runs that were completed today, 145 had cones, 40 were DNF's. Much less then the last two events - a great sign with a lot of new competitors today. 117 runs had a one cone casualty, 19 with two, and only 9 with 3 or more hit. The high cone count award went to Michael J in the Forester, hitting a total of 5 cones in one run - credit to the hustling marshal's they got them all setup back up before the next car arrived.

If you notice any error's or omissions in the results/points please send me a pm.

Looking forward to event 5 in Peterborough hosted by PMSC, July 17th.

I think we need a contest to name Tom's beast. it can't stay in the system as a '2006 custom'.

something like the '2010 Ikea Sven' in rare pylon orange pearl. Some assembly required, miata drive shaft not included.

I hear you, hurts the pride to set ftd and still finish 30th overall.Oh well,I'll use it for motivation-I "only" need to find another 2 1/2 seconds.

Not sure how it become the 2006 custom,I built it in 2010 so.....

The way I was driving today I'm surprised you didn't rename it already, cone clubber comes to mind.

The Smith "CRaB" painted in Pylon Orange Metalic.

Cr=Car a=and B=Bike, Smith = Builder, Pylon Orange = EATS so MANY (you are what you eat).. LOL

Jesus the forums sure get off topic quick,I went from having an awesome car to having crabs.

Sorry to hear about your car Joe,hopefully its not too much $$$.

Paul I plan on pushing to get my wings finished and installed, should keep the "crabbing" to a minimum.

Hey Tom,

Its a spun bearing. It'll get repaired, but maybe not this year. I'll see what weapon I can take out to the last remaining events to try to capture the STU crown. But damn, the Leggy was so nicely setup.

S-CRaB is a nice name for your creation, when cooked Crabs have the orangish reddish tinge, plus from what I hear, its an intimate experience driving that thing, which may result in acquiring crabs.. LOL

Too bad about the engine,I only saw a couple fleeting moments of your runs and it looked plenty quick.

Everyone knows a car demands a womans name, must be something to do with old saying "if its got **** or tires it'll cause ya trouble".

Intimate experience?,even when I was young, thin and flexable I wouldn't be able to be intimate in that thing. (what happens in the crabb car stays in the crabb car or something like that)

Trixy or Bobby Joe,I have enough hill billies around here to be throwing that out there.

Cliff asked for a name so I just decided its the TSR Special,Joe Cheng calls the fastest A-mod on the planet the vancouver special so I'll follow him a bit-well a lot actually as that thing is nuts.

I'm sure with some fresh rubber and more seat time in that thing you could've had the 2.5s, or pretty close...

Look at the bright side, at least now there will be some data for a BM car and PAX may move around a bit.
