6:30 – 7:15 p.m. RANDY LAJOIE: Former multi-time NASCAR Busch Series (now Nationwide) champion Randy Lajoie talks with the fans about his career in racing and his current business, The Joie of Seating.

7:30 – 8:45 p.m. SPENCER LEWIS’ ONTARIO ASPHALT SHORT TRACK POWER RANKINGS: Short track race announcer Spencer Lewis is joined on the Mazda Stage by the top 10 short track racers in the province, as determined by Lewis. Who will be this year’s prestigious list? Be at the CME on Friday night and find out firsthand!

10:30 – 11:30 a.m. CANADIAN YOUNG GUNS: Up and coming Canadian short track and road racers take part in an on-stage session talking about their careers, plans and dreams. Stay tuned to find out who will be part of this annual CME feature.

12:00 – 12:40 p.m. CARL EDWARDS Q&A: NASCAR Star Carl Edwards will take to the Mazda Stage for a Q&A with the fans. Find out what ‘Cousin’ Carl thinks about coming close to winning in all in 2011 and what he expects in 2012. Qualifying for the Daytona 500 takes place just one week after the CME!

12:40 – 1:40 p.m. CARL EDWARDS AUTOGRAPH SESSION: A limited number of lucky fans will be able to get an autograph from one of NASCAR’s biggest stars. Watch for details on how you can be one of them!

2:00 – 2:30 p.m. MAZDA CANADA ANNOUNCEMENT: Mazda Canada officials take to the stage to unveil some exciting news that will impact Canadian grassroots road racing.

2:45 – 3:45 p.m. RON FELLOWS: Canadian racing legend Ron Fellows talks about his career, his racing plans for the upcoming summer and what fans can expect at Mosport in 2012 and beyond.

4:00 – 5:30 p.m. MEET THE MEDIA FAN FORUM: If you’ve missed the recent UFC or WWE battles, you can get your fill of conflict by catching the Meet the Media Fan Forum on the Mazda Stage at the CME. Erik Tomas, Norris McDonald, Dean McNulty, Russ Bond, Todd Lewis and acclaimed F1 journalist Gerald Donaldson will discuss current motorsports events in a 90-minute battle royale!

5:45 – 6:45 p.m. ROBERT YATES Q&A: Legendary NASCAR team owner and engine builder Robert Yates will be appearing at the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series hauler on Saturday at the CME. But on Saturday afternoon, Yates will take to to the Mazda Stage to chat with the fans about his championships, drivers, career and current events.

7:15 – 8:30 p.m. INSIDE TRACK READERS’ CHOICE AWARDS: Readers of Inside Track Motorsport News recently filled out almost 10,000 ballots, casting their votes to indentify Canada’s top and future racing stars in a variety of racing disciplines. Be at the Mazda Stage at 7:15 p.m. to find out who won.

10:30 – 11:30 a.m. PERFORMANCE EXPERTS DISCUSS ’1 FAST LAP AT MOSPORT’: Making a racecar go fast is a balance of several factors. Be at the Mazda Stage on Sunday morning to hear Performance Friction’s Director of Motorsports Darrick Dong, AIM Motorsports’ Ian Willis and several other experts as they discuss what it takes to turn a perfect lap at Mosport International Raceway.

11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. SAFETY & FITNESS FORUM: Two-time NASCAR Busch Series (now Nationwide) champion Randy Lajioe, president of The Joie of Seating, will be joined by CSC Racing’s Jennifer De Winter (HANS Device & helmet expert) and motorsports fitness guru Jim Leo (Pit Fit Training) to discuss their respective products and systems to keep racers safe and better equiped to succeed.

12:45 – 1:30 p.m. JAMES HINCHCLIFFE FAN Q&A: Canadian IndyCar racer James Hinchcliffe recently signed with Andretti Motorsports to drive the GoDaddy.com car in 2012, replacing departing star Danica Patrick. The Oakville, Ontario racer will take to the stage at the CME to talk about his career, his Rookie of the Year season in 2011, and what’s in store for 2012. Don’t miss your chance to chat with one of Canada’s rising stars, who will sign autographs in the Inside Track Motorsport News booth after chatting with the fans.

1:45 – 2:45 p.m. NASCAR CANADIAN TIRE SERIES DRIVER Q&A AND AUTOGRAPH SESSION: Canada’s top stock car racers talk about their careers and 2012 news. In 2012, Canada’s top racing series will take part in five road course races and seven oval events. Find out what’s new for 2012 by being at the Mazda Stage on Sunday afternoon.

3:00 – 4:45 p.m. CASCAR REUNION: While CASCAR has given way to the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, CASCAR will always be an important chapter in the history of Canadian motorsports.
