Does that mean the restaurant is gonna have to rename their breakfast sandwich the 'Mc-Canadian-Tire-Motorsports'?

It doesn't have the same ring, but it would acknowledge a company that
is making a contribution to continued racing at this great old track. I think
leaving it as the McMosport would be acceptable to all.

When NASCAR changed the title sponsor from Winston to NEXTEL to Sprint, all the archival material and any and all reference to old events predating the new sponsor's name had to be called by the name of the new sponsor.


How about that idea? Might as well do a full job of the naming rights, no?

I got two months of ban for "time to grow up". That's it.

I would like to know how much in dollars CTC pays to the Mosport owners for the naming rights. There is a belief in some people that this contribution is what makes the track improvement possible. I sort of doubt that theory. In the grandd scheme of thing it should be like a 'cherry on thr cake' contribution. Time will tell. I hope someday a journalist will sit down with Ronny (or better, the Orlando corp. CEO) to get some details from them. So far not much heard beyond the official annuncement of the fact.

Adam asks the questions that should be asked, but are not by certain stakeholders, competitors, entrants, officials, etc.

Adam like BTF, who has been missing for some time, adds perspective of the forum.

Having hads posts removed, I feel removing of posts and sanctions by the executive should only be used sparingly.

Much of the social coment and information on motorsport seems to have vanished from the forum.

Couldn't agree with you more, Peter..I missed Adam also..

A lot of negative comments from people that don't agree with Adam. seems to me they know very little about Racing

Ironic ..... The giant billboard, at the Taunton Rd intersection on the way in, promotes the ALMS weekend at Mosport. No mention of CTMP.
