Sorry but the sentra series will be exactly the same as the new civic series-way way way to much cash and not enough performace.For alot less(and I mean ALOT less)I could go alot quicker-its just that I'd be stuck in the dumb bracket racing that is gt sprints,touring cars looks better if you have cubic dollars for the unlimited engine and chassis mods allowed.
My crx is right around 180hp,weighs about 1900lbs ready to race(and its still steel eveything) with suspension and lsd etc,and has been built for under $6000.

any Nissan Sentra racing on the track is a lot faster than something that's not moving. Let's see this CRX on the track racing!

I guess the reason I got into showroom stock racing is that I like to RACE! Boring eh. The race I won the first three cars qualified wirthin .036 seconds at Mosport and at the end of the race the first five cars were covered by 8/10s of a second. I bet if you get within 100ft of another car with that Civic you pee your pants. Is this a for sale pg or a discussion board?

Thanks Nabs...It is a great price. Turn the key and race. Very little prep. It just runs and runs and runs. Build cost for this car was $25,000 not including spares.

I didn't say they weren't close in competition-I just said they slow for the amount of cash put out!
You verified my comments yourself-$25,000 to build.Oh and you don't need to worry about me pissing myself in fear-many years of super close sport bike riding(on and off the track)along with several years of wheel to wheel ice racing ensures that my bladder is very liquid tight indeed!!.(I've rolled a car on its side into another car,which bounced me back onto my wheels and never lifted and passed that car into the next corner-broken windshield kinda pissed me off however,this in addition to 2 rollovers in the stud class,one high enough to get the 3rd place crx under me before coming down)

Red Rabbit-first a year of solo1 to sort the car,then funds permitting I'll give regional road race a try.

There is going to be a Sentra series this year. There are about(17-18) Sentras in the area. The series is going to be an organized one with prize money etc. Contact Perry Iannuzzi for details. You also have Touring GT and GTD so thats a ton of racing you can do with this car....Thanks ..Dan

Dan,if my off the cuff remark(intended to be kinda humourous since I know a couple of people in the series)pissed you off-sorry.I do know how good a deal this is and I'm sure it won't last long.
