You were flying, Barry! I actually thought you would have me by more. Awesome stuff!

And that Val dude makes me very nervous... what's the deal man!?! Has to be something to do with the colour...

Eric, nicely done beating out your co-driver! Make it happen more often, will ya!! lol

Now all we need to do is band together and attempt to at least give Mike a bit of a run for his money. Not willing to let you walk away with things this easily Aversa!!

Cliff, thanks for all your work getting the results up!

That was Mike P in Mike W's Porsche actually.

Props to Ralf K for proving that it's absolutely feasible to get it done on PAX in a MOD car. 2nd and 3rd overall in his first weekend with the car, impressive!

Somewhere West of the GTA, Marsh's head is simultaneously collapsing and exploding.

As long as it isn't at Picton, I don't think many of us much care.

Looks like I have an awful lot to learn.

I had a great time at the event, and I will be back! Thanks to all who helped put the event on.

thanks Barry, i gotta say Picton gives me a bit of an advantage as course layout and speeds work well with my 2 stroke/cvt combo drivetrain, i don't think i can pull off similar results in more traditional lots, but i'll take it for now...
and although i do appreciate the compliment, it was my first weekend with the car this year, i did drive it all of last year...

Good job to Ralf,I for sure couldn't have driven my old car at speed with those bumps at Picton.

Hopefully I'll get my sick Miata fixed up so I can at least drive it,be nice to know how much of that 5 seconds off the pace was me.

Axware does the formatting and calculation and output of the times for me (it can do txt, xls, htm - which is prettier and what we use for both the final and live results).

Fixed Mike P's car description, the Porsche is an AS car.

Re: Events 1 & 2 - Results posted - St. Lac - Picton, ON

decided to run some numbers in excel... i have always been curious as to where the competition is

the following is based off PAXed results

Day one saw a heavy skew at the front and the back of the pack, with the top 5 people pretty much running away with it, sparks flying, with two dozen or so drivers at the end of spectrum having a really bad day.

The majority of the competition was happening in the mid pack, as seen by the small slope of relative position and driver to driver variance.

On day two we see the competition spread across a much greater amount of drivers (this is good), with a somewhat similar driver to driver variance among all the groups

However, the top two drivers still pretty much run away with it

Interstingly enough, I had always thought that the competition would be the tightest at the front of the field, but it seems that’s not necesserily the case.

hmmmm
