Celebration schedule

Had a look at the schedule and found it a but different from the traditional format.

Sunday morning practice is all closed wheel cars. That seems to combine sprints and varac together at the same time. Will the car count not be well over the track limit? Seems it will be a bit crowded out there.

Sprint races are 25 and 30 minutes up from the regular 20 minutes. Is that correct?

Re: Celebration schedule

VARAC cars don't typically have Sunday practice.

Re: Celebration schedule

I'm all for the 25 and 30 minute races. I doubt all of the closed wheel cars will be out for the practice

Re: Celebration schedule

Any chance the GT Challenge 1 hour race could be run last on Saturday?

Aren't the enduros usually the last race anyways?

That is where the schedule was. There is now a second link that show a different schedule dated yesterday.

Not all weekends have the GT Challenge as the last session. In the first few years the Challenge race was last on the schedule, but for a variety of reasons (for both the drivers and marshals), some weekends have them at different points in the afternoon. Having the race earlier also gives some flexibility to the clerk to move the schedule around a little during a weekend if Saturday is running long.

The 3 hour enduro(s) are definitely always last on the schedule.

[edited to correct some truly torturous sentence structures. My bad.]
