New Event at Dunnville!

I'm happy to announce that the 2004 Williams Performance Friction Solo 1 Championship is back up to 11 events, and will be the first on Ontario's newest racetrack at the Dunnville Autodrome.

Event #6 at Dunnville will be run Sunday July 18th on the same weekend that we have Event #5 at TMP Cayuga on Saturday July 17th, and in the same neighbourhood, as well!

See the Niagara Skydive website for directions to the Dunnville Airport, which is where the Dunnville Autodrome is being built. This will be a 2km, 13 turn racetrack, according to this sketch.

Of course, if TMP is unable to reopen their Road Course in time, Event #5 will be also be run at Dunnville. Therefore we can be assured of a full weekend of racing! Please note that camping will also be permitted on the grounds.

As an added bonus, TAC will be hosting a 'lapping afternoon' at the Dunnville track on Friday, July 16th from 2:00PM to 8:00PM. Cost for this will be $50 for CASC-OR licence-holders, $75 for everyone else. Please register on-line (forms to be up shortly) or contact our Series Registrar Rob McAuley (soloontario@cogeco.ca) to reserve your spot.

Christian

Great news!

Any chance of getting a configuration that isn't quite as hostile to us high-HP fat ass guys?

I'm all over a Dunnville weekend like a fat kid on a Smartie! Like ugly on a ape! Like Hanif on used race tires! Like Christian on gravel! Like Adam on the boost controller! Like Krispy on unsuspecting GT3 and GT2 competitors! Like, like, like...ahhhh you get already

The track looks remarkably similar to TMP but a moderate bit shorter. Any way we could get rid of the kink in the front straight? Fortunately that last corner should be pretty fast. I certainly hope the paving is under way.
