It was actually McLaughlin. They started in the late 1800's in enniskillen and later were called McLaughlin-Buick when William Durant controller of Buick supplied the drive trains. As for foreign versus domestic. Domestic has always been considered North American owned manufactures which now has only 2 FORD and G.M.And despite what many manufactures brainwash people into believing especially the asian manufactures and most notably SLOWYOTA they are and always will be FOREIGN manufactures!
