Special GT at ALMS

This is a special invitation for Ontario and Quebec GT competitors to join the Ontario Touring GT race at the ALMS weekend.

All GT competitors will be eligible to compete in "Special GT" class and run at the same time as the TGTC competitors. There will be no tire restrictions in Special GT (ie: slicks are okay). Regional points will not be awarded for this class.

There will be practise and qualifying on Friday with a 45 minute race on Saturday (1 minute mandatory pitstop). The cost will be $400 and includes 4 gate passes. There will be a special barbeque after the race on Saturday and all are welcome.

Those that are interested are encouraged to download the standard Race Ontario entry form and forward it to Laura Schmidt as soon as possible.

See you at the track!

John:

Are there any special rules governing the classification of "Special GT" for this event??

ie: weight, chassis (tube frame), tires, etc, etc.....

If so, where do I find them?

Leroy

Leroy:

The specifications for GT vehicles are defined in the Race Regulations Appendix Q Section F. The are available under the Bulletins Section of the website.
