cart and ovals

i have never been a huge fan of ovals. sure the speeds are way up there. there was even a bunch of passing at las vegas, due i suppose to the speed limits that were put in place. but somehow i still ended up flipping back & forth to a documentary on janis joplin!!! janis ended up winning

am i the only one who found the race to be a huge bore?

I find any sort of oval racing boring until you get to dirt track stuff because you know there will be a bunch of crashs. The only time this year that I watched nascar was when they went to the Glen otherwise I have no use for those guys.

I personally thought the last 20 laps of the Champ Car race were awesome. 20 laps of side by side racing for the lead diceing it back and forth with Bruno leading one lap and Sebaston (sp) the next.

I though that the the blocking/cutoff move was a little bit.......questionable and Bruno was extremely diplomatic in not bad mouthing his teammate, but man was he pissed off!

A good race all in all, too bad Tracy had problems right from the start

The thing that makes Champ Car so good, in my opinion, is the deversity of the tracks. Big ovals, small ovals, road course, street circuits, this series makes F1 look mickey mouse.

I would love to see the seven time world champion try a season of champ cars. We all saw what JV did to him in 96, making an outside pass in a extremely fast corner, MS has no balls!!!!!!

The race started off pretty good but I'll admit the middle section got a little tedious. The prolonged yellow as the officials tried to figure out who was leading was just ridiculous. There were only 17 cars on the track how tough could it be? Robin Miller was right to nail CART on Speed News. The last twenty between Junkie and Sebsastian was classic oval racing.
